Compassion

Compassion is the heart of Christ for people in our world today. Somehow, Christians have earned a reputation for being judgmental, arrogant, proud, and angry. The Penndel Ministry Network is working to develop systems that will assist pastors and churches in meeting the human needs of people in our communities with a tangible expression of God's love by partnering together to share experience, contact, and resources that will provide means to meet the human needs of those around us. PennDel Charities is working to effectively reach out to others with the reality of Christ. If this video rings a bell for you, contact PennDel Charities.org for more information. I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready to see some action. I just ready the front cover of "UN-Christian," George Barna's new book about the poor image of Christians. Unfortunately, we already know the facts. We now need to act. I'm ready for some compassion.

Thanks for the reminder!

Action is required. The challenges are so great that even what we do seems insignificant when compared to the needs that are before us. If everyone does something it will make a difference. There will be no one sweeping solution. It would be great if PennDel Charities where that solution. The reality is quite different. But if we all do our part, it will make a difference. Thanks Rob for the comment.
